Sunflowers
These turned out BEAUTIFULLY!
Look at those proud faces!
Your children amaze me!
We traced a CD and then painted the circle with tempera paint-we talked about how to use a paintbrush and working slowly and carefully.
(Boy, do the kids LOVE to paint! And we are going to do a whole bunch of painting this year.)
They each made their sunflower unique to them and I just adore the variety. Their flowers dried till the next week, and we finished up the background using chalk pastels which are wonderful for blending with a finger and so bright also.
Children had the option of outlining their flowers with black crayon or leaving them as they were.
They each chose their mat color and I hung them in the hallways. They are SO proud of them and I am also!
